BURGERS TO BEEF WELLINGTON | #YOURNEIGHBOURHOOD
From burgers to beef wellington, The Neighbourhood offers a variety of authentic dishes, desserts & drinks and I was lucky enough to be invited for an evening there with a plus one!

The Neighbourhood has definitely got to be one of the most original restaurants I've ever been to. Everything has a splash of colour & unique designs, even their ties!
After entering The Neighbourhood, having our coats taken and being escorted to our booth we were offered a very pink menu full of many different starters, mains and sides to choose from.
For our starters we chose to go for 'Crispy duck with watermelon & beansprouts', which our waiter kindly recommended when he noticed us struggling to decide from all the delicious choices.
We loved the contrast of the savoury crispy duck and sweetness of the watermelon. It's not usually something you'd pair together but it went perfectly!
Deciding what to have for our main was a bit tricky as it was one of those menus where you love everything and don't know what to get. I eventually chose the 'Neighbourhood burger with cucumber relish' and my plus one went for the waiters recommendation of the 'Beef wellington with madeira sauce'. We had no regrets with what we picked, they were both spectacular meals!
The burger itself was so succulent it was melt-in-your-mouth good! I think the cucumber relish and cheese really complimented the burger very well. My plus one said the beef wellington was 'Perfectly cooked for me with an amazing Madeira sauce'.
Throughout the night, our friendly waiter was very considerate and offered us drinks every now and then. After enjoying our mains, he suggested some cocktails from the drinks menu. I took my time selecting a cocktail as you've got to make sure you pick the perfect one! For my first cocktail I opted for the 'Hemingway Daiquiri' which is made from Havana club 3yr, maraschino, grape fruit & lime juice and was not disappointed.
While we sipped our drinks we looked at the dessert menu and we both ended up getting one. The 'Chocolate brownie with ice cream' caught my eye and my plus one went with the classic 'Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream'.
I've never seen a brownie quite like this one before. It has to be the most chocolatey brownie I've ever had, each bite oozing with warm chocolate sauce.
Once we had finished savouring every taste we were offered more drinks and I decided to go for the popular cocktail 'Neighbourhood Nights', which is made from koko kanu coconut and fruit juices- or in other words is basically an alcoholic round trees icelolly in a fancy glass... What more could anyone want?
I really liked the live music throughout the night performed by 'Dean Mac & The 105'. It created relaxing and happy vibes that made the evening feel smooth and content.
All evening the service was brilliant, we couldn't of asked for better waiters as they were incredibly conscientious and thoughtful as to predict what we may need/want and when- which was lovely.
I really liked how convenient and catering the menu and staff was as The Neighbourhood isn't just a restaurant & bar, It’s a place where you can have brunch, coffee, a quick snack, afternoon tea, dinner or cocktails – it caters for all types of people, creating something for everyone.
What I loved most about The Neighbourhood is the ambience. I especially loved the decor & neon lights. As soon as you walk in you are engulfed in a vibrant, cool, calm and authentic atmosphere that you never want to leave.
