Unicorn Tears Gin | Review

Unicorn Tears Gin kindly gifted me 2 of their legendary gins to try, share & review over my birthday celebrations…

Unicorn Tears is the original shimmer spirit and made with 100% REAL unicorn tears 🦄🦄🦄

During my Birthday weekend, my guests really enjoyed the speciality cocktail ‘Pink Tears & Tonic’ included on my cocktail menu. The pink gin is raspberry flavoured and bursting with a unique blend of exotic botanicals from its original gin. This fruity, raspberry forward gin is beautifully complemented by the mix of botanicals to create a great, smooth flavour. I really liked how well this worked in both a pink G&T and a Cosmopolitan or a ‘Cosmopolicorn‘.

The original gin made quite the impression with having such an authentic & rare range of botanicals including juniper berries, mandarin, almond, raspberry, coriander and pepper, plus exotic horned melon, Buddha's hand and star fruit. These subtle tasting notes create a delicious and enjoyable gin. There are so many cocktails this gin would work well in and it makes a great G&T of course!

Apart from the flavours, the best part about this gin has to be the shimmer! It makes all your G&T’s so beautiful and shimmery. You simply stir to infuse the shimmer and it ignites a mystical show of glittery swirls dancing within your drink. This gin is such a unique spirit as it’s the very first to incorporate shimmer directly into the gin itself. I love how pretty this looks and how perfectly it matches the unicorn aesthetic.

Overall, I’d say this gin has to be one of the most original ones I’ve tried to date. The flavours alone give it a distinctive take on gin, tying it together nicely with its signature magical shimmer.

Thank you so much to Unicorn Tears Gin for gifting me your fantastical gins to review! I’d really enjoyed trying them.
