They has recently created some new pizza & sides, which they offered to send me to review!
Their Posh Pizza is a perfect combination of a classic pizza with a sophisticated, unique twist.
Made with Tomato sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, parmesan, topped with parma ham and rocket- this authentic Italian pizza will make your evening feel just that bit fancier.
I really enjoyed this pizza! The dough- cooked to perfection- was the ideal ratio of not too thick or thin and had a nice, soft texture to it. The tomato sauce had a lovely, fresh tomato flavour and complemented all of the toppings nicely. I would have loved it even more if there was a bit more sauce too! I thought the mushrooms & parmesan were a nice touch and went very well. The parma ham & rocket really tied it all together and gave it the signature 'posh' taste. This scrumptious posh pizza deserves 4 1/2 out of 5 stars!
You can't order from Dough without getting their famous truffle fries!
Tossed in truffle oil, topped with parmesan and parsley- these fries are the best side for any pizza night! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the only way fries should be.
I absolutely love their truffle fries! I like how original the flavour is and I think the parmesan goes really well with the fries. I have to give their truffle fries a perfect 5 out of 5 stars!
Who doesn't like garlic bread?
Tear & share Dough's new Garlic Bread, made with mozzarella, brushed with garlic, parmesan and oregano. This tasty, thick & filling garlic bread makes a great side to your pizza night!
I liked how moreish and yummy their garlic bread was but I would have prefered a bit more cheese and garlic (as you can never have too much!) I'd like to give their garlic bread 3 1/2 out of 5 stars, as I think it could really be improved with more cheesy garlic/sauce.
Better than KFC!
Dough's new crunchy chicken is marinated in buttermilk for 48 hours, coated in their special recipe flour mix and deep fried to perfection. With a crispy skin & tender inside, this flawlessly spiced chicken is so much better than your average KFC.
These chickens have to be my all-time favourite side from dough (apart from the truffle fries of course!)
I thought the flavour of the chicken was deliciously succulent and I loved how nicely the spicy mayo went with it. Obviously, I've got to give their crunchy chicken 5 out of 5 stars! or even a 6!!
The sides don't stop there...
Dough has also started making everyone's favourite Italian dishes- Spaghetti Bolognese & Carbonara...
Made with slowly cooked bolognese for eight hours tossed with fresh pasta and finished off with parmesan and fresh parsley- this classic Italian dish brings a touch of authenticity to your usual pizza night.
I liked how fresh tasting and rich the tomato sauce was, as well as giving off a lovely aroma. I think this side is a 4 out of 5 stars, as I really enjoyed it but I personally prefer pasta in a creamy/white sauce.
This delicious pasta dish is made with creamy carbonara sauce, topped with pancetta and sprinkled with herbs. Each mouthful is oozing with flavour and makes a great, tasty side addition.
I loved how creamy the texture was and how flavourful the pasta itself was! I give their carbonara 5 out of 5 stars, as this side was the same taste and quality of a restaurant pasta dish.
Overall, I really enjoyed the new variety of pizzas and sides available at dough! I can't wait to order again soon.
