@smokendough invited me & a plus one in to try out & review their menu. They really treated us, they go alllll out for dinner! If you're a meat-eater like me, you'll love eating at Liverpool's new BBQ dining experience! But don't worry, if you're veggie or vegan there’s still plenty of delicious options.

For starters, there was a variety of different nibbles such as a bread basket overflowing with garlic bread, parmesan and Pepper twists & pizza- YES PIZZA! As well as a selection of other bread, salami and pepperoni, dips and salad.

Our main was most definitely the highlight of the evening! It was a never-ending feast of meat & sides! We didn't know where to even start with this. I tried the chicken skewer first, it looked absolutely divine.

The chicken skewer was delicious & so flavourful! I then tried the steak, which was so tasty & tender it felt like cutting butter- melted in your mouth like it too! I loved that there was a range of pork to try too- like the pork spare ribs, belly of pork & smoked pork sausage. My favourite out of these had to be the ribs, they were so succulent & bursting with maple wood flavour. There were some beechwood smoked chicken wings to taste too which were marinated in BBQ sauce, which was absolute perfection! I also enjoyed sampling the mini burger patties, brisket of beef & lamb chops- flavoured with that classic minty taste. I think I've covered all of the meat we had, there was a lot!

Overall, I think I liked the steak the most out of all the different meats! It was just so good!

Those sides though! Omg, the number of sides was unbelievable! They just kept coming... We had fresh green beans in garlic butter, chips, creamy mash, mac N cheese, sweetcorn, onion rings, mushroom sauce & peppercorn sauce. They were a meal themselves! All of the sides were unreal how good they were! But my faves were the chips, The creamy mash & The mac & cheese the ultimate side!
