El Pacado Invited me & a plus one to try out their new tapas menu in Bold Street!

Who doesn’t love good tapas?!

We decided to both get some sourdough bread to nibble on before our other tapas arrives. I went for the sourdough bread with roast garlic aioli and my plus one @dresswellthinkwell ordered from their vegan menu and got the Toasted sourdough with tomato, garlic and extra virgin olive oil. We really enjoyed nibbling on the sourdough, it was very tasty and not too filling at all.

I also ordered baby chorizo in cider and honey and Roasted chicken thigh salas romesco, chimichurri and crushed almonds. I my fave tapas of the evening had to be the chorizo in cider and honey! The honey complimented the chorizo perfectly- it was a match made in heaven! It was honestly the best chorizo i’ve ever had and i’ve had a lot of chorizo. I really liked the chicken thighs too, they were very succulent and flavourful!

@dresswellthinkwell went for the toasted sourdough with tomato and garlic, white beans with roasted jerusalem artichoke and tempur king oyster mushrooms. Her fave had to be the white beans with roasted jerusalem artichoke! It was very tasty and morish.

For dessert I opted for the classic churros and chocolate sauce and @dresswellthinkwell went for the vegan persian trifle. The churros were absolutely delicious! You can never go wrong with churros, especially at El Pecado! @dresswellthinkwell said her dessert was unexpectedly the best part of the evening as it was the nicest trifle she’s ever had and all fo the flavours & textures worked so well together to create the perfect after dinner treat.

We also looked over their drinks menu and I chose the El Gran Pecado and @dresswellthinkwell went for a classic glass of sangria. The cocktail I got was bursting with fruity flavours and sweetness. @dresswellthinkwell said she really enjoyed her sangria too as it was full of flavour too and went perfectly with our evening.

I loved the intimate atmosphere and pretty decor, it really gives it a nice & cosy ambience. Myself & @dresswellthinkwell had a great time dining at El Pecado and I will be going back again soon to try some more tapas… and maybe the persian trifle!

Thanks so much to El Pacado for inviting us!
