On Tuesday I decided to get out and shoot around Liverpool and finally photograph the poppy memorial at St. Georges Hall-which looks fantastic!

I got the bus in to Liverpool with a satchel full of camera equipment (not the most convenient thing) and started the day off with a healthy breakfast of waffles and a shake at Ed's Easy diner. I wanted to get some more photos of street performers/bands in Liverpool and I managed to find a lovely band consisting of three middle-aged men, who were nice enough to let me photograph them!

I also took some photos of the christmas tree near Liverpool ONE, love the design of this years tree.

I visited the ice rink in Liverpool ONE, but there was no one there! Loads of people shopping, walking round, enjoying the carousel, helta skelta and a gigantic blow up christmas photo snow globe with way too much fake snow- but not one person on the ice.

So after a disappointing trip to the abandoned ice rink I headed over to St. Georges Hall to get some shots of the Poppies. I loved seeing them in person, looks amazing! There were a lot of people there looking at the poppies and taking photos and some selfies, so I decided to capture these people in the moment as they appreciated the display. I really love photographing people naturally, as they are themselves and don't project a fake smile or pose.
