Lush Relax More Gift Set | Review
Lush UK kindly gifted me one of their gift sets to review recently to help promote relaxation & self-care, especially during this difficult time while people are staying home more. I’ve worked with lush before on a smaller scale but I’m so excited to work with them on this collaboration!
This gift set can be found here on the Lush website.
Opening this gift set for the first time reminded me of that moment when you first walk into a lush store! You know what I mean- all the scents! So many great smelling products, the aroma is almost like a light perfume flowing from the box, making me want to use all of the items immediately!
As my favourite lush scent is sleepy, I decided to save that for last and start with a product I haven’t tried yet. Made with lavender oil, lavender flowers, Neroli oil, camomile & a biodegradable muslin cloth the Deep Sleep Bath Bomb is a lavender lovers dream. This bath bomb creates a luxurious, alluring bath with a gorgeous purple colour. I love how scented this bath bomb is, even after getting out the bath you can still smell the lavender and camomile.
One of my all-time favourites from lush is the comforter bubble bar- especially combined with a twilight bath bomb So this time, to incorporate and use some new products I used a combo of the comforter bubble bar, therapy massage bar and sleepy shower gel. The comforter is made with blackcurrant aroma Cassis Absolute, Bergamot Oil & relaxing Cypress Oil. The therapy bar is made from orange oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Shea Butter & Organic Lavender Oil. And the sleepy shower gel is made with the classic sleepy scent made from, yes you guessed it lavender oil, & oat milk, Benzoin Resinoid & Tonka Absolute. I really enjoyed this combo of products as they all complimented each other very well.
I haven’t seen the french kiss bubble bar before but it looks & smells amazing! Its made with lavender, shea butter and cocoa butter. This gives off a kind of similar scent to sleepy but more subtle and it feels more moisturising than other bath bombs. I crumbled it in to the bath and watched it slowly form a lovely, light pink colour.
One of the more subtle bath bombs was the butterball. I loved the scent of this bath bomb, so light and uplifting. This bath bomb is perfect for sensitive skin! It makes the water feel lovely. Lush said it best on their website-
“Once the cocoa butter pieces have melted, your skin will be coated by a light buttery film that smells good enough to eat.“
