Lush Relax More Gift Set | Review

Lush Relax More Gift Set | Review

Lush UK kindly gifted me one of their gift sets to review recently to help promote relaxation & self-care, especially during this difficult time while people are staying home more. I’ve worked with lush before on a smaller scale but I’m so excited to work with them on this collaboration!

This gift set can be found here on the Lush website.

Opening this gift set for the first time reminded me of that moment when you first walk into a lush store! You know what I mean- all the scents! So many great smelling products, the aroma is almost like a light perfume flowing from the box, making me want to use all of the items immediately!

As my favourite lush scent is sleepy, I decided to save that for last and start with a product I haven’t tried yet. Made with lavender oil, lavender flowers, Neroli oil, camomile & a biodegradable muslin cloth the Deep Sleep Bath Bomb is a lavender lovers dream. This bath bomb creates a luxurious, alluring bath with a gorgeous purple colour. I love how scented this bath bomb is, even after getting out the bath you can still smell the lavender and camomile.

One of my all-time favourites from lush is the comforter bubble bar- especially combined with a twilight bath bomb So this time, to incorporate and use some new products I used a combo of the comforter bubble bar, therapy massage bar and sleepy shower gel. The comforter is made with blackcurrant aroma Cassis Absolute, Bergamot Oil & relaxing Cypress Oil. The therapy bar is made from orange oil, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Shea Butter & Organic Lavender Oil. And the sleepy shower gel is made with the classic sleepy scent made from, yes you guessed it lavender oil, & oat milk, Benzoin Resinoid & Tonka Absolute. I really enjoyed this combo of products as they all complimented each other very well.

I haven’t seen the french kiss bubble bar before but it looks & smells amazing! Its made with lavender, shea butter and cocoa butter. This gives off a kind of similar scent to sleepy but more subtle and it feels more moisturising than other bath bombs. I crumbled it in to the bath and watched it slowly form a lovely, light pink colour.

One of the more subtle bath bombs was the butterball. I loved the scent of this bath bomb, so light and uplifting. This bath bomb is perfect for sensitive skin! It makes the water feel lovely. Lush said it best on their website-

“Once the cocoa butter pieces have melted, your skin will be coated by a light buttery film that smells good enough to eat.“

I think this is a great option if you have sensitive skin and find it hard to use bath bombs due to irritation. Made with Ylang Ylang Oil & cocoa butter this bath bomb offers a nice, subtle taste of the lush bath bomb world.

Now it’s time for the ultimate combo! Twilight bath bomb, Sleepy soap & Dreamtime bath oil. This was one epic bath…

This has to be my favourite bath during this collab! The Twilight bath bomb is made from lavender oil, Tonka Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid & Ylang Ylang Oil. Sleepy soap is made from the same scent as the sleepy range and Dreamtime is made from sandalwood, ginger oil, lavender oil & cocoa butter. The sleepy soap really surprised me with how scented it was and how much it sinks into the skin, creating a long-lasting sleepy scent all the way up to bedtime. I seriously loved how much essential oils where pact into the tiny Dreamtime bath oil. it really provided a lovely silky feel to the bath. The Twilight bath bomb has been a favourite of mine for a while now, in my opinion, its an absolute perfect bath bomb- the scent is amazing, the mix of colours are vibrant & insta-worthy and it always makes my skin feel lovely. I think these all combined very well together and created the most relaxing bath experience ever. The water was so silky and felt beautiful on my skin. This bath scent also lasted a long time after bathing too- which is always nice. I was really relaxed during this bath and could have easily fallen asleep right after!

For my after bath routine, I usually use some sleepy moisturiser as it’s my fave. As part of my collab, I decided to send a few friends some products such as the shower bath bomb, sleepy, oaty creamy dreamy & silky underwear to spread the lush love! I seriously love the idea of a shower bomb for those who may not have a bath at home but still want to experience lush. I did try the dream cream and really liked how moisturising it was as well as the nice oat milk & lavender scent.

I think this gift set offers so many different products and encapsulates the theme of relaxation and takes self-care to a whole new, lavender-scented level. Overall, I’d highly recommend this gift set as a gift for friends, family or even better- yourself! It has all of the perfect products needed for the ultimate relaxation and self-care experience. I think this set is more targeted towards the hard-core lushies that use lush on a daily basis or at least once a week. This gift set itself is a little expensive at £85, but it does contain 14 full size different lush products to enjoy. Lush does also offer a less expensive option at £23.50 called Relax which offers a smaller version of the relax more set including 4 items. There is also a variety of other gift sets available at Lush both in-store and online that cater to different tastes and price ranges. Another giftset I love is, of course, the sleep gift set. Like that’s a surprise! I may or may not have an addiction to the sleepy range but honestly, who doesn't?! It’s amazing! So, If you know a lushie who would love to receive something like this, why now treat them to a lush gift set… Or, if you can, treat yo’ self and practise some self-love! Sometimes we need to give ourselves gifts- so what not some lush?

One thing I really, really like about Lush is that they are very much against animal testing and are an avid fighter for animal rights. They also use reusable, recyclable and ecofriendly items when possible too- including naked packaging! Currently, some stores offer a reward system for people bringing back old, empty lush pots- when you bring back 5 pots you receive a free face mask in return! Those pots will then go on to be recycled by lush.

Thanks so much to Lush UK for collaborating with me & a big thank you to Jonnie for connecting with me & arranging this! It’s been so much fun and I’ve had such a relaxing time trying out these items.
